U.D.P.: Stands for: user datagram protocol.

Unsecured Loan: A loan based on a consumer's commitment to pay, without savings or other collateral as a guarantee. Sometimes called a signature loan.

Unused credit: The amount of credit available to you before you reach your credit limit.

Upload: To copy files from your own computer to another through a network or a modem. Upload is the opposite of download.

URL: Stands for: Uniform Resource Locator. The address at which a Web page resides. Pages are identified by URLs. Hypertext links make it able for users to jump from page to page without typing in a long URL each time.

User I.D.: A character string used to uniquely identify each individual user of a system.
